I live in the Pacific Northwest and work as an educator, teaching history and English to junior high students. I am also an author and have recently published my first historical fiction novel, “Catalyntje Trico: A Life in New Amsterdam”. During my free time, I like to wander through the forests of the Cascade Mountains with my husband, read books and old journals, tend to my garden, visit cemeteries, and discover interesting historical facts wherever I can find them.
