I live in the Pacific Northwest and work as an educator, teaching history and English to junior high students. Additionally, I am a writer looking forward to publishing my first historical fiction novel. During my free time, I like to wander through the forests of the Cascade Mountains with my husband, read books and old journals, tend to my garden, visit cemeteries, and discover interesting historical facts wherever I can find them.
