I am so close to publishing my historical novel about Catalyntje Trico! In the past few days, I’ve purchased ISBN and digital codes. I’ve also reached out to a graphic designer to create the cover for my book. However, he needs a final page count to make the book spine the correct size, as well as the ISBN and digital codes.
Before I could send him the page count, I needed to format my manuscript for upload so I would have a final page count. Today, I spent about eight hours formatting the entire novel. There was a lot of detailed work and a steep learning curve, but I’ve finished it. I just needed to let it sit overnight and have one more look at it. I also set up my ISBN and scan codes online, so that is completed.
With a final page count of 339, I’m now at the last leg of my publishing journey. The remaining tasks are a final review of my formatted manuscript, securing a book cover, and finally, uploading my manuscript!
