I’ve been working for the past several months with Tania Mannion to produce “Catalyntje Trico: A Life in New Amsterdam” as an audiobook. It is finally nearing completion. When it goes live, it will be available on Audible, Amazon, and Apple Books. It should be ready by September; I will post about it here when it is available. Here is a sample from the chapter titled “Hope.”
I am almost finished with a collection of short historical fiction stories of Oregon History. It will include 12 different stories and be Volume 1 of a series. I’m on a final edit read-through and will then need a title and a cover. Coming up with titles is not my strong suit. I hope to have this completed in September as well.
I have also begun my second historical fiction novel, which will be a companion book to my story about Catalyntje. It is about Trijn, the midwife who lived on Pearl Street near Catalyntje. Trijn is included in my novel about Catalyntje, so you will find Catalyntje in this new novel as well. I’ve already written close to 20,000 words, and this will be my focus once the other two projects are finished.
Thank you for your continued interest in my writing. Please keep in touch and drop me an email when you have a chance.
